Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep you signed in, to keep the Platform secure, and — with your consent — to improve your experience. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookie_consent cookie in your browser, which brings the consent banner back.
Categories of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the Platform to work and cannot be switched off. They do not track you for advertising.
- Session cookie (
JAINSESSID) — keeps you signed in during your visit. - Remember-me (
AUTH_REMEMBER) — keeps you signed in across visits, if you choose it. - Security tokens — protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
- Consent record (
cookie_consent) — remembers your cookie choice.
Preferences — remembering your choices
First-party cookies that remember something you chose, or where you were, so the platform behaves the way you left it. They are read only by us, are never combined with data from other companies, and are never shared.
- Language (
js_lang) — the language you picked, so every page loads in it. - Inbox tab (
js_inbox_choice) — which inbox the last tab on the bottom bar opens: chats, email or alerts. - Last section (
js_last_module) — the section you were last in, so the bottom bar offers it again. - Continue from here (
js_last_page) — the page you were last reading, for a few days, so you can pick up where you left off.
2. Non-essential (only with your consent)
These would help us understand usage and improve the Platform, or support optional features, and are set only if you choose “Accept all” on the cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, we do not set them.

Referral source
(
js_first_touch) — remembers the link or website that first brought you here, so that if you later create an account we know how you found us. It holds only that referring address and any campaign tags on it, never a record of the pages you visit. It lasts 90 days and is set only if you choose “Accept all”.
If we introduce any in future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent through the cookie banner before setting them.
Managing cookies
- Use the cookie banner to accept all or essential-only cookies.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working.
- To re-choose, clear the
cookie_consentcookie and reload the page.

We may update this Cookie Policy and will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date.
